Das zweisteinige Hotel übertrifft die Preisleistungsverhältnissen; sehr sauber, komfortable, familiäre Atmosphäre mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal, das Englisch spricht und gerne kulturellen sowie kulinarischen Informationen und Tipps gibt (auch Insider-Tipps ;-).

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels bietet ein bequemer Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing- und Shopping-Touren. In der Nähe des Hotels befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das historische Zentrum, Piazza Plebiscito, Maschio Angioino, etc..., außerdem der Hafen, von wo aus in einer halben Stunde zu den Inseln Capri, Ischia oder Procida fahren kann. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt befindet sich der Hauptbahnhof, aus dem wir tolle Ausflüge zum Vesuv, Pompei und die Amalfiküste unternommen haben.

An dieser Stelle danken wir die zwei Inhaber für ihre tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder buchen und freuen uns sehr auf dem nächsten Urlaub in Napoli!

During our visit to Neapol me and my wife stayed at Casanova Hotel. Good hotel for its price with very friendly and helpful stuff. The rooms are clean. A special room for a rest with a free internet. Very good location, 10 minutes of walking to the very center of Neapol. It is also near the main station, so it is very easy to reach by train such famous places as Pompei and Vesuvio. We didn't have a breakfast at the hotel, but right across the street there is a nice cafe serving the real italian cappucino and pizza and sweats. If you are looking for the budget accommodation and planning to spend most of your time by visiting the sightseeings of Neapol, and the hotel for you is only the place for a rest - hotel Casanova is the best choise. Will be good for a students and young couples.

Ottimo hotel, pulito, confortevole, personale gentile e qualificato, in pienisssimo centro, unica difficoltà il parcheggio per l'automobile. E' possibile utilizzare un parcheggio privato a pochi metri dall'hotel per €12 al giorno. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, non fatevi ingannare dalle 2 stelle, ho visto dei 3 stelle nettamente peggiori.

Hotel Casanova is close to the main station, and has very good transport links to nearby beauty spots and to the city of Naples. Breakfast was wonderful, in as much as although the hotel advertises breakfast for 4 Euro's there is no breakfast. Instead you are directed across the road to on of the finest cake shops/bars in all Naples. It has been in business for 171 years so they must be doing something right. The area around the hotel can be intimidating, however it is gradually being renovated. We had heard about how dangerous it could be, but my wife and I walked all around the area and into town with no problems ever. You can get the bus R2 from Piazza Garibaldi to right into the heart of everything, Plebiscito, Teatro Carlo,via Toledo etc. But be careful,if it is crowded, there are pickpockets about. You can also get a trolleybus directly to Museo Archeologico from outside the back door. Naples is in general a very friendly town, but it is wise to be cautious, as I said there are pickpockets, and even I that should know better, had my wallet stolen. This was but but was made up for by the extreme kindness of the owner and staff of the restaurant we were in when I discovered the loss. They phoned Visa for me, let me call my daughter in England to help get my card blocked, and they were very generous when my wife tried to pay. "These people bring shame on our city" was what was said to us. If you promise not to take advantage of them and you want a wonderful meal, great service in one of Naples best restaurants serving local cuisine, and is a member of the "Slow Food Movement" then you could do worse than try to find Hosteria Toledo, just off via Toledo. Back to the hotel, some of the staff have some English, but they are all very friendly, and willing and eager to please. Not having to pay for the use of the computer is a plus too. We loved it and will return.
